Wardenur Houser Jones wasn’t the only talented cousin in north Jersey. In 1929, Ardeanur Smith performed at Jersey City’s Saint Mark’s AME Zion Church before Oscar DePriest, United States Congressman from Illinois from 1929 to 1935.
